Day 6 - Cake for lunch?

Last night I had some strong cravings while watching tv. (all those pizza commercials when you've had no carbs at all! haha). Then I proceeded to sleep 9 hours! :)

Scale holding steady at 5lbs lost this morning...

1030am - YOGA groove on
1pm - Tried a new spiffy juice!

I have dubbed it:

"Carrot Cake Juice"

5-6 Carrots
2 handfuls baby spinach
2 leaves Swiss Chard
2 green apples
1/2 in Gingerroot

(Add spices after juicing)
1/4 tsp fresh ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cardamon

(we also add a shot of aloe juice)

Ok, it's not quite cake, but it's pretty delicious.

Today I have felt a bit dizzy at times, sometimes sick, and pretty weak. My body is definitely going through something. I remember having to do liquids in prep and after surgery before and I don't remember feeling sick really though. So, I do think it's a little different.

We ran by Whole Foods this evening, and I felt really too drained to explore the whole store. Though, I really like it! REALLY wish we had one up north!

Our fridge is the "greenest" I've seen it! Look at all that sunshine!



















Tonight for dinner, a green smoothie:

Banana, Orange, Strawberry, Kale, lil water and crushed ice. A nice treat! Delish!
