Woke up earlier... 6:30. Had time to prepare juice and lemon water before work. Put the juice in the fridge for lunch and slowly working on my lemon water! At work, feeling a bit tired because I'm not a morning person, but at the same time I don't have a headache and I'm at least excited to have been on a roll this AM. :)
According to the scale this AM, I have dropped 4 lbs in one day. (TMI - without BM). Weird. Not sure if that's accurate. We shall see what sustains.
12:15pm - On a ROLL! Feeling VERY positive (which is surprising). Drinking my mean green juice. The first drink seems shocking to the taste buds, but the more I sip on it, the more I kinda like it.
1:45pm - Having a craving for crackers or chips (I see my boss over there with some SunChips). But I'm actually not physically hungry. (In fact, I still have a couple ounces of juice still yet to drink up).
I have felt FANTASTIC today. Clear thinking, no headaches, no mental anxiety (like you are brain-dead from the day).
For dinner, I made the following gazpacho juice:
Gazpacho Juice
4 Plum Tomatoes
1 Large Cucumber
2 Stalks Celery
1 Red Bell Pepper
1/4 small Red Onion
2 cups Parsley, leaves and stems, roughly chopped
and packed into the measuring cup
1 Lime
(after juicing, I added just a itty bitty tiny bit of apple cider vinegar for a more authentic taste).
I like this recipe a lot! I was saddened when my sister made some spicy Thai soup for dinner, but I was able to hold back. (She yelled at me.) However, that spicy Thai soup better watch it's back because as soon as I'm done with the fast, it's ass is mine!
Tested my acidity again, around 5pm (yes, that was my 2nd pee of the day, sad). It seemed to have improved from a 4.5 to a 6. That's still pretty acidic. But improved, I believe!
